Korea: Seoul & Chéri

Korea trip, we spent the later half in Seoul. My Korean friends took us to 북촌한옥마을Bukchon Hanok Maeul and 남산Namsan Seoul Tower. Historical Bukchon area had cute cafe shops in a renovated old house. What we were looking forward in Seoul was authentic Korean food! One of my friends took us to her favourite 삼겹살Samgyeopsal (pork belly) restaurant, still unknown to the tourists. Another friends took us to Hangang Park. It was interesting to have a food delivery to the park! Also, we joined in a Kimchi making class. Korea: Busan & Chéri

Korea was my third time but first time for my chéri to visit. This time we spent in Busan, Gyeongju and Seoul for 6 nights in total. In Busan, our Korean friend took us to the places such as 해동 용궁사Haedong Yonggungsa (temple), 범어사Beomeosa (temple) and 감천문화마을Gamcheon Munhwa Ma-Eul (Gamcheon Culture Village). My impression of Busan is “colorful”. The temples are painted with green, yellow and red. For the coming Buddha’s birthday, there were many paper lanterns prepared when we visited.
